Student Data Tracking Binders and Standards Based Assessments FAQ

Lately, I’ve been receiving so many amazing questions about my Student Data Tracking Binders and Standards Based Assessments and Teaching Notes. A lot of teachers are using this time to start them in their classrooms, and many teachers are sharing that they are having so much success.

So, to help you all out a bit more, I created this FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FREEBIE! My hopes are that this freebie helps you implement the binders easier in your classrooms. I’ve said this in many posts, but these binders and assessments have profoundly changed my classroom for the better.

If you’re reading through this freebie and realize you still have questions, don’t hesitate to email me or write your questions in the comments section below.

  1. Congrats on the big news! Thanks for the FAQ’s. I purchased the data packs awhile back but haven’t used them as I was a little overwhelmed. Going to start after break. Thanks again.

I am SO glad you happened to be the person in front of me on the “Currently” link… I’ve been seriously considering starting student data tracking binders in my classroom but didn’t know where to start! I just downloaded your free file!! YAY!! And I’m your newest follower! :)

  3. But seriously, I just love you. This is my first year back in the classroom after a three year hiatus in Africa, and its my very first year ever in 5th grade! I would not have survived this far without you! My cooperating teacher just said on Friday, “Miss Nannini is pretty much one of our best friends now. We say her name so much!” And it’s true! You are such an inspiration to me. I don’t know where you get to the time to do all that you do, but I’m sure glad you share your awesome ideas with the rest of us. You are amazing, and such a wonderful teacher! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  4. OH MY GOODNESS!! This brought tears to my eyes!! This has to be the kindest comment I have EVER received. It makes me so happy to know I am helping SOME teachers in some small way. Thank you so much for this! :)

  5. Hi Kristin! I literally just stumbled upon your blog (thank you google, and pinterest) trying to find an easy graph for my firsties to use to track their data. I LOVE your blog! I just lost 20 minutes going from one post to another sponging up ideas. I was just wondering: do you have any plans to make a data tracking packet for first grade? I saw the lowest you went in a previous blog post was second grade.
Thanks! (And congrats on your engagement! I just got married in November. Being engaged was such a fun time!)

  6. Thank you so much Rachel! You are too kind! Congrats on the marriage!! Being engaged is SUPER fun! I can’t stop looking at my ring!! ;) I DO plan on making them for first! I am hoping to get to it soon! I have been working on ELA assessments and they have taken a lot longer than anticipated! As soon as they are up, I will post them in my TpT store and up on my blog!! Take care and thanks so much for reading!

  7. Congratulations on your engagement! I came across your blog from the Currently linky. I LOVE IT! You have such wonderful ideas and I’m inspired by reading your blog!

Congratulations on the engagement! You’ve got a creative twist and great blog. Apparently you are reaching out to teachers unknowingly and making an impact.

We need more teachers like this, it really would help spin this country around ;)

  9. This was a good suggestion that you put up here…dude…..hope that it benefits all the ones who land up here.
