What I’m Currently Up To – October!

Happy October, friends! Goodness where is the time going? I’m linking up with Farley to celebrate the new month!

For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you’ve gotten a little taste of my fall decor!

And as for wedding planning goes, I have the most amazing planner EVER, yet my crazy OCD ways cause me to do this…

Doesn’t everyone make photo collages for each decision and use color coordinated sticky notes to keep it all organized? Confession: this was some what requested by my fiancé due to the fact that the stream of information coming at him was overwhelming. He kindly asked for the information to be a little less overwhelming, to which I did the above. See ladies, they do appreciate our teacher-like ways even at home!

Last but not least, I must say I am super proud of myself because I have three big products in the hopper that I’m about to put out. One of them is my 6th Grade Math Assessments (thank you for being so patient 6th grade teachers).

The second is my 3rd Grade Teacher Data Tracking and Grade Book that you sweet 3rd grade teachers requested! Don’t worry 3rd grade teachers, I’m still working on ELA Assessments, too!

The last product I’m working SUPER hard to finish for you is my Halloween Math Pack! Once it’s out I will be giving away five free packs to five lucky teachers! Check back for details on the giveaway soon!

Head on over to Farley’s blog to link up! Happy Hump Day!

    Miss Nannini,

I was wondering if you have ever posted about the structure you use to teach math to your 5th graders. You have wonderful math resources that I have taken full advantage of but I was curious how you utilize all of the math centers/games in your classroom. Do you have a guided math approach or do you do mostly whole group instruction?

Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful teaching resources!

  9. Thanks for your comments and questions! It is SO tough to answer that question, because I feel like I could write a novel! I do plan to write a bit about my literacy instruction soon, so maybe it will lead into a math post as well?! :) Have you had the opportunity to check out my free Frequently Asked Questions pack in my store? I am not sure I answer this direct question, but it may give you a bit more information. Here is the link: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Miss-Nanninis-Data-Binders-and-Assessments-FAQ-482328. I hope this helps! Thanks again!

  10. Love the fall decor! I’ve been so swamped I’ve barely got the simplest decorations out :(
The Halloween Math packet looks awesome; I can’t wait to see the finished product! Thanks for sharing!
